There are many ways to celebrate love, not just for couples, and not just on Valentine's.

There's Galentine's Day (2/13), Valentine's Day (2/14), Single's Day (11/11), your birthday, today...

Says who? Society? Since when did you allow others to dictate what you should/shouldn't do to show love? I thought so. 😉

Valentine's Day can be a struggle for many. You're not alone if you're one of the many. I see you. ❤️

If the notion of Valentine's Day is less than sweet for you, it's ok (it's normal)! Let's reassign meaning. Remember that there are all kinds of relationships: the one you have with your family, your friends, your co-workers, even the one you have with your phone (it's a thing)!

The most important relationship you'll need to constantly nurture is the one you have with yourself.

SELF-LOVE/SELF-CARE IDEAS
-Take the day off, go hiking, camping/glamping, and be at one with nature
-Write in a journal! There are so many journal prompts available online.
-Have you been wanting to try a restaurant in your town? It’s time! Make a reservation.
-Stay in a tiny house, enjoy take-out, read, write, sing, dance, whatever moves you!
-Dinner and a movie is classic. You can take yourself! It’s more normal than you think!
-Make candles at your nearest Paddywax Candle Bar
-Order pizza in and enjoy chocolate-covered strawberries on your own!
-Prep your favorite breakfast (Golden Grahams and espresso FTW!)
-Wear your favorite outfit and drop it like it’s hot!
-Take yourself to a juice bar and get the good stuff to nourish your bod
-Dedicate a love song to yourself (sounds cheesy, but bad-ass ones exist out there!)
-Take yourself dancing
-Make time to do the thing that brings you joy
-Splurge a little on yourself
-Attend a class (cooking, painting, dancing, pottery-making… whatever intrigues you)
-Take a staycation
-Make a luxurious natural bath for yourself and enjoy it
